This compact and user-friendly driver series uses space vector modulation and IGBT technology to provide the most efficient and cost-effective solution on the market. This driver series utilizes the latest IGBT technology: space vector modulation and the benefits of surface mount construction to save space, time and money.
Space vector modulation
The 454 GT series uses advanced PWM space vector modulation technology to reduce harmonics, achieve smooth performance and achieve extremely quiet motor operation. The unique application of this technology enables real-time waveform generation on a closed-loop basis, so that the driver can automatically compensate for changes in DC bus voltage, even if the line voltage changes. In fact, the space vector modulation "spreads" the sound energy in a wide frequency range, so the noise of the motor becomes less obvious and annoying.
IGBT technology
The core of the 454 GT Drive Series is advanced IGBT (Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor) technology. This technology enables these drives to provide greatly enhanced performance.
Higher carrier frequency-IGBT makes the switching speed higher. Therefore, the 454 GT Drive Series can operate at a switching frequency of up to 12 kHz, which can be adjusted by the user.
Extremely quiet motor operation-higher switching frequency and lower harmonic content make the motor run quieter than ever.
Higher motor efficiency-IGBT technology provides operating efficiency that can improve performance.
Low harmonic output content-lower peak and harmonic currents will result in lower motor operating temperature and longer motor life. This also provides more usable torque across the entire speed range.
Smaller size-IGBT technology and surface mount structure lead to smaller driver size.
