The headquarter of Large Drives Applications is based at the Siemens site Nuernberg Vogelweiherstrasse. At the plant motors with a power range up to 12 MW and converters with a power range up to 80 MW for the product and service businesses are manufactured. The products are used in industries such as Oil &Gas, Marine, Power Generation, Steel or Chemicals.

Additional, DSV is producing synchronous generators for marine applications, off-shore oil platforms, turbines, and railway generators. Drásov is our main manufacturing center for components in our European factory-network.
