Siemens announced the release of its next-generation Sinamics Perfect Harmony GH180 medium voltage inverter. The new-generation drive is manufactured in the United States of Pennsylvania, with an innovative PCB-based power unit. Compared with the previous design, the number of parts has been reduced by more than 70%, thereby improving reliability and making it the most compact medium on the market. Press the drive.
The new Sinamics Perfect Harmony GH180 driver provides customers with an efficient solution for low-power applications. The battery design of the new Sinamics Perfect Harmony GH180 reduces maintenance work and improves usability. And, combined with up to 90% cable cost savings and substantial savings on conduits, the result is a significant reduction in the cost of ownership during the entire life cycle of the drive. No other driver can provide the savings and reliability that Sinamics Perfect Harmony GH180 brings, which makes it an ideal solution for a wide range of applications.
Next-generation drives provide a simplified system with enhanced maintainability and reduced debugging. Sinamics Perfect Harmony GH180 driver complies with IEEE 519 and is compatible with any type of motor, including induction motors, synchronous motors, permanent magnet motors and circular rotor motors. The driver also supports 480V or 600V input voltages up to 400A-making the driver ideal for new or retrofit applications of existing motors.
Customers can upgrade to this new drive without giving up critical space. The new drive provides incredible flexibility and can be adapted to almost any application with a fast delivery date, even to meet the most demanding schedules. Compared with the high-low-high solution, the new Sinamics Perfect Harmony GH180 has a return of three years in fan and water pump applications, and its efficiency in low-power applications has increased by 4%.
Sinamics Perfect Harmony drives provide up to 96.5% energy efficiency across the entire speed range.
Siemens Process Industries and Drives uses innovative integrated technologies throughout the entire life cycle to help their customers improve the productivity, safety, reliability, efficiency and time to market of their plants and processes.
