ROBICON Perfect Harmony Multi-Language Keypad
Good afternoon forum users! Problem with Siemens Robicon GH180, no picture on HMI Multilanguage keypad, how to program this panel, what program?How to check if the panel is working?
Points we checked : -
1. keypad cable, connections checked between the keypad and CPU.
2. CPU was working.
3. Update NXG

Troubles with log files (missunderstanding)

(I have Robicon Perfect Harmony Gen III e. Sorry If I wrote in other branch.)
I have some troubles with understanding what happend, And my questions are:
1. We have message "Alarm acknowledge" in every pushing on "Fault Reset" button?
2. What the meaning of "Run Request" variable and what message "Run Request - false" means?
I think that "Run Request - false" message meaning "We have general fault" and we have this message only then we have changing variable's values, from which Run Request's value depends on. Is it right?

Hello Zhenyaa,
1. Alarm acknowledge message means that system trying to remove faults while you pressed FAULT RESET. If the fault is still present, acknowledge is unsuccessfull.
2. Run request is command for starting motor. It could be from digital input, from operator panel or from communication. And Run request - false means command for stopping motor. It is not fault, it is only message - drive received command to stop motor. But if it depends on parameter change, I don't know, I never changed parameters while motor was running. Of course, it is possible when you change parameters, drive stops to prevent some malfunction.

2. As I understand... We have SOP programming system for Robicon.
Some my colleagues had school for Robicon, but they are on holidays now and I have only slides from school... Thats why some my phrases maybe will be strange. Sorry.
One example from system programme:
Counter10(1) = KeypadManualStart_I * /KeypadManualStop_I +ToolManualStart_I;
RunRequest_o = Counter10;
In my opinion we have RunRequest as value of boolean expression like:
Input Voltage = Ok!
Cell status = Ok!
...
...
Condition N = Ok!
And RunRequest is (my name for variables are not originally!):
RunRequest = InpVolt AND Cell_Stat AND ... AND Cond_N
And our message: Run Request - false meaning that Robicon catch changing expression due to changing variable's value (e.g. We have changing of Input Voltage from 6 kV to 5.5 kV. And we have changing "InpVolt" from logical 1 to logical 0 and in expression for RunRequest we have:
0 AND 1 AND 1 AND ... AND 1 = 0
And robicon catch this changing to log only for our analysis, it's like system message. Is it correct?

HARMONY ROBICON-A1 DC bus Over voltage
Dear,
we are having a SIEMENS HARMONY ROBICON GEN IV air cooled VFD with 9 cells without cell bypass with an input transformer voltage 4.16KV in this drive we are frequently facing a issue while we starting the drive. once the drive reaches its 20% of speed or some times 80% of speed this is the error message(A1 DC bus Over voltage) displayed on the drive display and this triggers the drive to trip off. Once we acknowledge the drive and re initiate the start command then the drive running normal. kindly support me to sort out the issue.
Below Things which we done from our side:
We are having almost 6 drives of same configuration and we tried swapping the power cell(750 V,140A) from the other drive which is running normal but still the problem remains the same.

Is the motor shaft fixed before starting and does not rotate?
Actually this motor is always connected with the shaft of gear box, and we are using this drive in belt conveyor system which is used to carry and transfer the iron ore pellets. while start the conveyor system this motor is rotating but when reaches the speed of 20% or 80% it triggers this error and tripping the system.
An Overvoltage Fault is usually caused by an improperly set-up or tuned drive.
You can use the following steps to troubleshoot this type of error.
Course of Action
1. Verify that the motor and drive nameplate settings match parameters in the motor parameter
2. Reduce the regen torque limit parameters
3. Reduce flux regulator proportional gain and flux regulator integral gain
4. If the failure is occurring in bypass mode, increase the energy saver minimum flux parameter to at least 50%.
Message did not reset
Input protection fault message showing of siemens perfect harmony drive gen iv. this message did not reset. According to manual checked one by one but message did not reset. please suggest me.
We have faced similar issue and looking for solutions.Also many Drives in plant triped frequently.But normal when reset but trip again after some time too.
NXG firmware updated to latest one and monitoring same.Is there any batch issue with these products?
There are no batch issue with these products. Stop condition suddenly this message show "Input protection fault".
Normally this message is reset. But not being reset now.
