How to run motor?

I am from VietNam
My company is using GH180. We are running 2 Gh180, We will run the third Gh180 in next 2 weeks, I used Siemens Tool Suite and find out that their parameters is same. Can I run the motor by set the parameters and program of the new one like the old GH180?

If the motor and drive are the same specifications and application then you can probably get away with the same parameters and system operating program. Do you have the manual that comes with the drive detailing the commissioning procedure? There are a few other things apart from the parameters and SOP to consider. These include but are not limited to;
Visual inspections
Reforming of Electrolytic capacitors if required
IO Testing
Operating the drive in Open Loop Test Mode before running with motor

IGBT error of inverter GH180
Hello all,
I have a Sinamics perfect harmony GH180, recently it has an error regarding IGBT at cell A5, error code is IGBT OOS 1, F001. I have read manual of this, it explain the reason of error is "The junction transistor is depleted of charge carriers results in a higher junction resistance", Please help me solve this problem. Fault picture attached under.

Do you have a spare power cell or power cell control board? You will need to exchange the complete power cell A5 for a new power cell or put a new cell control board into the faulty A5 power cell. The old power cell or cell control board can be sent for repair.

Up-Transfer Fail on Load Test
I have a Gen 4E 4000HP drive used for soft Starting a 3300kW screw Compressor .
The Up-transfer permit was successful during the No Load Trial run.
During the Load Test, the up-transfer permit does not work even after applying the Up-transfer Pulse was 60 seconds .
The phase lock is not happening . Suggest a solution !
Function Menu of Gh180
Hi!
My company is using GH180. Do you guys have a "Function Menu" of Gh180 that i can use drive’s keypad to enter? Ex : 9300 is “TCP/IP setup”. Thank you all and sorry for my bad English, have a good day.

If you go online and save the parameters as a text file from that you can see all the menu and parameter ids. Have a look in the attached parameter text file. The menu and parameter ID numbers are in the column third from the right hand side with the heading ID.

From the list of signals available there is a "Average Power" option. This may give you what you are after?
The manual does not specifically state if it is KVA or KW. I would assume it is KW and verify the analog output value and scaling against the value shown in the debugger software when running.
Encoder loss alarm
Good day!
We have two drives GH180 for close loop vector control mode (CLVC). We have encoders with two HTL-outputs. The first output is for PLC, the second is for GH180 drive. We see that sometimes GH180 has "Encoder loss alarm" and go to OLVC, but we have speed value in the PLC without any failures or errors.
Anyone else had the same alarm?

This fault/alarm indicates the following;
The speed of the encoder differs from the internal software PLL by an amount greater than the threshold set in “Encoder loss threshold” menu.
The parameters associated are;
Encoder loss threshold Menu ID 1310
Encoder 1 PPR Menu ID 1290
Encoder filter gain Menu ID 1300
Encoder loss response Menu ID 1320
I would check the wiring between the encoder and drive encoder interface. Note the cable and shielding requirements provided with the drawings and attached page from the NXGpro manual. The shielding between the encoder and the drive must never be terminated at both ends due to the potential for damaging noise currents.
It could also be a good idea to use an oscilloscope to look at the pulses coming back from the encoder to the drive. I would probe these at the SIB TB1 56, 54, 50, 48 terminals.
Dear Will4, thanks for your answer. We will check it. Can you tell me about iba-interface for GH180, because of ugly toolsuite interface for recording traces? Now i send data from GH180 to s7-1500 and watch it by iba-s7 viewer from db.

The iba interface for GH180 trends data from the Debugger software screens. This includes the advanced screen and can also trend the SOP tags and other variables found in the Debugger software. If you already have a iba link to the drive through the PLC then there isn't probably a lot of use in getting the dedicated interface. You will just need to manually map out any tags that you want to trend.
